No sport can without its history!  The Jan Aarden pigeons have certainly made a big contribution to the development of the marathon pigeons of today! Worldfamous and responsible for many big victories at the long distance races from 800 -1300 km. The so called marathon races.

In this site we provide you the information, using modern internet technology, of the devolopment of the dutch marathon pigeon.

We present you historical stories, the successes of today, a Galery of fame with famous pigeons and the famous marathon racers of today! The so called JAPC members. Our purpose is to give you insight into the development of the dutch marathon pigeons.  Jan Aarden and his pigeons stood at the beginning of thit process. His pigeons were the main source of orgin  for the dutch marathon pigeon! That is for sure.

Nowadays there are so many topfanciers at the long distance worldwide, who earned their fame and glory because of the Jan Aarden pigeons.

They are the in the center of the Jan Aarden Pigeons Club .

The JAPC site will always be developed.  We start small with the pigeons of Jan Polder & Piet de Vogel and every day/week it will be extended by other pigeons and or fanciers.
